Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman is not expected to attend BRICS summit. Kremlin said world's biggest oil exporter to send foreign minister to Russia’s Kazan. President Putin's foreign policy aide, Yuri Ushakov said Prince Faisal to attend summit. 9 of the 10 BRICS members would send their leaders. Russia invited Mohammed bin Salman to attend the summit, foreign minister Sergei Lavrov said in August. Mohammed bin Salman still considering the invitation to join BRICS. Saudi’s warming ties with China have caused concern in Washington, its longtime ally Yuri said.
