A rare moment was caught on camera during a safari in South Africa. A tracker, sitting on the car’s bonnet, was taken by surprise as a lion sneaked up on him. The man seemed to be completely unaware of the lurking big cat, which made eye contact with him.
The man continued to remain calm during the encounter. He kept sitting on the tracker seat, holding on to his binoculars.
Another video of the same incident showed that an entire pride of lions was present around the tourist buggy. At least four lion cubs were also seen in the video.
The video of the wild encounter has gone viral with more than 21 million views and nearly 2 million likes.
