London: Indian arrested for allegedly helping fund Hezbollah terror group

An Indian national has reportedly been arrested in London for allegedly helping in the funding of banned terrorist organisation Hezbollah.

66-year-old Sundar Nagarajan was taken into police custody on April 18, 2023.

He also faces an extradition request from the United States of America, where Nagarajan is accused of conspiring to defraud the US and evade terror-related sanctions.

Hezbollah is a Lebanese terror group which is supported by Iran.
