Peshawar, July 14 (PTI): In a tragic incident on Monday in the Dault Khel area of Lakki Marwat district, located in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, four young children tragically lost their lives while bathing in a pond, authorities reported.

The victims, whose ages ranged from 9 to 12, included two siblings. Despite the efforts of local residents to save them, all four boys drowned before any assistance was able to reach them.

Rescue teams subsequently recovered the bodies of the children. The devastating incident has led to an outpouring of grief, with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi and Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur expressing their condolences for the loss.
