Kamala Harris Says Her Grandfather Was Part Of India's Independence Movement, Internet Calls Her A 'Liar'

US Vice President Kamala Harris on September 8 shared a post for her grandparents on National Grandparents Day. In her post, she said her grandfather PV Gopalan was part of India's Independence movement. Social media users objected her claim and pointed out that her grandfather was in the British Imperial Secretariat Service which became the Central Secretariat Service after Independence.
