Israel Defence forces have postponed the ground operation on Gaza hours after its 3-hour deadline to residents in the northern regions ended.
A New York Times report said that the decision to put off the start of its ground operation against Hamas comes in wake of the adverse weather conditions.
Earlier, the Israeli military officials during separate briefings said that the forces were waiting for a political nod to set off the massive operation.
