Gaza witnessed its first rainfall since Hamas' October 7 attack on Israel that led to a full-blown war.
As heavy rains lashed the region, problems for Palestinians mounted as many of them have left their homes and are living in makeshift tents owing to Israel's bombardment and ground assault in Gaza.
Last week, the World Health Organization had expressed concerns of about the prospect of rain causing flooding and affecting the already damaged sewage facilities.
The WHO also warned about outbreaks of diarrhoeal diseases.
