After Hamas surprise assault, Israeli troops on Monday attacked several gunmen who crossed into the country from Lebanon, Press Trust of India reported, citing the Israeli Defense Forces, adding the officials did not specify the number of people killed nor their alleged affiliation.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu too vowed to "change the Middle East" in Israel's war with Palestinian militant group Hamas, as the army pounded the Gaza Strip with air strikes.
Earlier in the day, Israel's defence minister ordered a complete siege of the Gaza Strip adding that the supply of food, fuel along with electricity will be cut.
