Iran didn't take judicial case against the student who stripped in Tehran. Iran’s judiciary: has not issued an indictment against the student. The girl had stripped to her underwear to ‘protest moral policing’. The decision was made after medical reports said she was ill: Iran official Asghar Jahangir. Asghar said the girl was handed over to her family and no case has been filed against her. A video showing her sitting and walking at a Tehran varsity went viral. Amid global outcry, the video sparked harsh reactions from officials in Iran. Science Minister Hossein Simaei described it as an ‘immoral, uncustomary’ act. Simaei said the student has not been expelled from her university. Amnesty International said the woman was ‘violently held after she removed clothes.
