In a shocking case, a drunk passenger on a Greece-bound Delta Airlines flight allegedly sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl and her mother.
The incident which took place on July 26 came to the fore after a $2 million lawsuit was filed against the airlines over the nightmarish experience, as per Fox Business.
As per the details of the lawsuit, the male passenger was served 11 drinks by the crew before he 'groped' and 'touched' the girl and her mother who were seated next to him.
The lawsuit further claims, the flight attendants ignored repeated pleas by the women to change their seats. The aggressive behaviour triggered a panic attack and petrified the minor girl, it added.
The plaintiffs further alleged that the drunk man was let off the plane by the flight staff without informing the local authorities.
