Moscow, May 22 (PTI) A multi-party delegation of Members of Parliament, led by Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, arrived in Moscow on Thursday night. This visit marks the start of a five-nation tour aimed at raising awareness in the international community about Pakistan-sponsored cross-border terrorism, following the recent tragic Pahalgam attack that resulted in 26 fatalities.

Upon their arrival at Domodedovo International Airport, Karunanidhi and her delegation were welcomed by Indian Ambassador Vinay Kumar and other officials.

On Friday, the delegation is set to meet with members of the Russian Duma and Russian foreign ministry officials, as well as engage with prominent experts from local think tanks.

They also have plans for Saturday to hold a press conference and engage with the local media before they move on to Slovenia.

This diplomatic mission will include visits to Greece, Latvia, and Spain, reflecting the Indian government’s diplomatic strategy post-Pahalgam. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced a “new normal," indicating that New Delhi will treat any acts of cross-border terrorism as acts of war against India. PTI VS GSP GSP
