Security outside the Indian consulate in San Francisco was heightened as Khalistani protesters gathered for a planned demonstration.
The protesters were restricted to the street opposition the consulate as the police had barricaded the area. According to news agency ANI, Khalistanis chanted slogans, waved their flag and made speeches against India during the protest.
On March 19, a group of Khalistanis had attacked the Indian consulate in San Francisco and also put their flags.
