An IDF officer and a solider were killed in separate Hezbollah attacks on October 22. The IDF said Lebanon based group fired 65 rockets at various Israeli areas while as the Israeli Air Force failed to detect a drone infiltration. The Hezbollah said that the drone hit an Israeli military base. Sirens were sounded for over a hour amid rocker barrage sending over a million Israelis into bunkers, the IDF said.
