Amid the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas, climate activist Greta Thunberg shared a post on X showing solidarity with Palestine and Gaza.
"Week 270. Today we strike in solidarity with Palestine and Gaza. The world needs to speak up and call for an immediate ceasefire, justice and freedom for Palestinians and all civilians affected," wrote Thunberg.
She held a "Stand with Gaza" placard, while her companions displayed similar slogans in support of Palestine.
Reacting to the post, Israel took a dig at the Swedish activist.
"Hamas doesn’t use sustainable materials for their rockets which have BUTCHERED innocent Israelis . The victims of the Hamas massacre could have been your friends," wrote Israel.
