Four arrested in suspected targetted killing of Indian-origin man in Canada

Four people have been arrested in connection with the death of 28-year-old Yuvraj Goyal in Canada's Surrey.

Goyal was shot dead at his home by unidentified attackers on 7th June.

Police apprehended four suspects in connection with the killing a day later. 

The accused were identified as Manvir Basram (23), Sahib Basra (20), Harkirat Jhutty (23), all residents of Surrey, and Keilon Francois (20) from Ontario.

The initial evidence hinted at targeted shooting, police said and the four accused have been charged with first-degree murder, India Today reported quoting Global News.  . 

Goyal was on the phone with his mother shortly before he was shot outside his home local media said. 

"Goyal returned from the gym and stepped out of his car and he was shot. a minute of 30 seconds before he was shot he had a chat with his mother." Goyal's brother-in-law Bawandeap told media.
