Chants supporting jailed former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan were raised during a T20 cricket match in Lahore.

The incident occurred during a Pakistan Super League match between Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars at the Gaddafi Stadium.

Fans at the stadium were heard chanting 'Tera yaar mera yaar, qaidi number 804' which means "Your friend, my friend, prisoner number 804".

This was an apparent reference to Imran Khan. This comes in the aftermath of general elections in Pakistan in which Khan's party PTI-backed independent candidates bagged the highest number of seats but could not form the government.

While Khan remains in jail in multiple cases, his party has claimed rigging in elections.
