Bus carrying pilgrims from Pakistan to Iraq crashes in Iran, 28 dead

At least 28 Pakistani pilgrims were dead when a bus they were travelling in met with an accident in Iran's Yazd province. 23 others were also injured in the incident which took place when the Shia pilgrims were on their way to Karbala in Iraq. There were 51 people on board at the time of the crash and reports said 14 among the injured are critical. Reports said that the bus caught fire after its braking system failed. The pilgrims were travelling from the Sindh province in Pakistan to Karbala to commemorate one of the biggest events in the Shia calendar.
