An old 40-second clip from an interview purportedly showing Russian mercenary leader Yevgeny Prigozhin saying he would rather be killed than lie to his country has once again sparked speculation about his alleged death.
The clip has been taken from an April 29, 2023 interview with Russian military blogger Semyon Pegov, as per reports.
The clip published on Grey Zone, Wagner's Telegram channel, Prigozhin reportedly says, "Today we've reached the boiling point. Why am I speaking so honestly? Because I don't have the right; people are being lied to. Better to kill me."
Prigozhin also mentions a plane disintegrating in the sky in the video, as per media reports.
