A gunman attacked a consulate of the United States of America in Saudi Arabia on June 28.
At least two persons died in the incident in Jeddah, including the attacker, who was killed by Saudi forces. A local security guard also died in the exchange of fire.
No Americans were injured in the attack, and the consulate went into lockdown.
The US government said that the motive for the attack was not immediately known.
