Amid a crackdown on pro-Khalistan preacher Amritpal Singh, a Sikh Member of the UK Parliament commented on the situation.
Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi said it was "very worrying" to see reports from India about "imposition of an internet blackout in Punjab, with mass arrests and restrictions on gatherings".
Dhesi added that he is "praying" that the "tense situation" is resolved soon, and human rights of all are "respected".
