Afghanistan: Taliban ban women from national park for 'not wearing hijab properly'

In yet another misogynistic move, the Taliban rulers of Afghanistan have banned women from visiting a popular national park.

Afghanistan's acting minister of vice and virtue said that women were not wearing hijab properly while visiting the Band-e-Amir National Park. The minister added that sightseeing is "not a must for women".

This comes around a month after the Taliban ordered the closure of beauty salons in the country.
