Five-year-old Israeli girl Emelia Aloni, who was recently freed by Hamas under a prisoner swap deal, returned to school.
A heart-warming video showed the girl being welcomes by her teacher and fellow students as she entered the school.
She is the girl whose mother, 44-year-old Danielle Aloni, wrote an open letter thanking Hamas for treating her daughter like a queen while she was held as a hostage.
However, she later revealed that the letter was written under duress and that the reality was a horror movie.
“Our daughter saw things that children at that age, or at any age, should not see,” the woman told The US Sun.
“It was a horror movie — you feel like you want to pinch yourself and wake up from this movie. People can die because their abductors simply decided to murder them,” she added.
