Around 5,000 American military forces participated in the ground operation launched by the Israeli army in Gaza on 27th October, which marked Israel's heaviest attack on Gaza since the war began on October 7th.
According to Iran's Tasnim news agency, Friday's attack involved three divisions and several brigades.
The news agency, however, did not provide details about which troops took part in the offensive or what functions they performed.
