British teen Max Woosey, who is popular as "The Boy in the Tent" has created a world record for raising the most money through camping by an individual.
Guinness World Records stated that Woosey has collected more than 7,50,000 pounds (Rs 7.6 crore) through his three-year-long funding campaign that began from the garden of North Devon Hospice, a charity service that looked after his friend who died of cancer.
Woosey told UK media that his charity amount was dedicated to Devon Hospice for taking great care of his deceased friend. He started his camping journey in 2020 as a 10-year-old after his friend passed away, who only handed over a tent to him "to have an adventure."
