Women's coach Ramesh Powar slams Mithali Raj

India's women's cricket team coach Ramesh Powar has slammed Mithali Raj calling her 'aloof and difficult to handle'. In a meeting with BCCI CEO Rahul Johri and general manager Saba Karim,Powar accepted that his professional relationship with Mithali was strained, but dismissed Mithali's claim of bias. Powar also added that Mithali was dropped due to her poor strike rate and the team wanted to maintain a winning combination.
