England tour to Australia, Ashes 2021, England vs Australia: The fate of this year's Ashes will be decided soon as The England and Wales Cricket Board will meet this week to decide whether their men's tour of Australia will go ahead as planned or not.

English players have concerns over whether families can travel, quarantine arrangements and any potential 'bubble' they may have to live in. They were presented with the proposed conditions for the tour on Sunday evening.

Australia has some of the strictest Covid-19 protocols in the world and different states have their own regulations. Since the Ashes will be played across 5 states, ECB is in constant touch with Cricket Australia over these arrangements as the picture is constantly evolving.

Few of England's top cricketers including Jos Buttler have already said that they might skip The Ashes tour if families are not allowed. If big superstars pull out, it will be a huge setback for cricket Australia as they will lose big money from broadcast rights.

The first Ashes Test begins December 8 and the series is due to end on 18 January.
