Why sesame is now controversial

The Food and Drug Administration took its first step in considering food labeling requirements to warn people if a product contains sesame. It may add sesame to its list of eight common food allergens including milk, eggs & fish. Evidence shows that sesame related allergies are on the rise in the US. FDA has requested for information on the severity of sesame allergies.
