Onling blog WABetaInfo has said that WhatsApp is offering some users cashback offers on the usage of sending money through UPI using the WhatsApp payments feature. The offers are being rolled out to beta users on both Android and iOS. However, the feature is currently limited to selected beta users, and cannot be availed by switching to a beta profile.
Indian users have reported that WhatsApp Payments is offering ₹51 cashback on up to five UPI transactions using the WhatsApp payments feature, for a total of ₹255 in cashback. According to WABetaInfo, this offer may be a limited period trial to entice users to take advantage of the WhatsApp Payments feature. It also says that there is no way to enroll for the cashback promotion if it has not been activated on your account.

Recently, WhatsApp announced that it will stop supporting a list of Android devices from November 1. Affected users will lose all their chats if they do not backup and export them, and switch to a supported device to continue using the messaging service.
WhatsApp has announced on its FAQ page that it will no longer support devices running on Android 4.0.4 or older versions after the November 1 deadline.
