According to a report from WABetaInfo, messaging service WhatsApp will make accepting its new terms of service optional in a future update, and will not force users to accept the conditions.

While previously users feared that failure to agree to the new terms of service would cause their accounts to be limited in function, the report seems to state otherwise.

It also goes on to say that only those that want to message business accounts that use cloud providers will need to review and accept the new terms.

The report adds that WhatsApp will announce this change soon with an upcoming update on WhatsApp beta for Android and iOS devices.
