What it took to create the Burma-ivory sherwani for Nick Jonas

Designer Sabyasachi took to Instagram to reveal the making of Nick Jonas's exquisite wedding sherwani. The Burma-ivory sherwani was made using Mushidabad silk. To make it soft, it was yarn-dyed and hand-spun. The buttons were encircled with Japanese-cultured pearls and to top it all, the sword was made in steel and gold with the custom sheath encrusted with pearls. A magnificient shawl and necklace added the perfect panache.
