England's Test captain Ben Stokes missed out on a deserving double century as he smashed 182 in just 124 balls, including 15 fours and 9 sixes!

ODI record broken!

Stokes broke England's record for the highest ever ODI score as he went past Jasoy Roy's 180 (151) which he accumulated in 2018 vs Australia

A 100 in just 76!

A retirement return like none- This was Stokes' 4th ODI ton and his 1st since his retirement reversal. His last ODI ton came in 2017

Malan & Stokes rock at The Oval

Duo recorded highest stand (for any wicket) against Black Caps. With their 199-run partnership, they surpassed Eoin Morgan-Joe Root's 198 (2015)

Only behind Viv!

Stokes now has the 2nd highest individual score in ODIs at No. 4 only behind Viv Richards who had smashed 189* against England in 1984

England's trump card!

While Stokes came out of ODI retirement only to play in NZ series and ODI World Cup in India, his form will be a big boost for the defending champion

'Hitman' Sharma at the top!

The highest score by a batter in an ODI game is 264 made by India's Rohit Sharma against Sri Lanka in Kolkata in 2014
