Baisakhi

Bihu

Rongali Bihu or Bohag Bihu, is the most important Bihu festival celebrated in mid-April. It is a series of festivals that marks the Assamese new year.

Poila Boisakh

Poila Boisakh is celebrated all across West Bengal and Tripura welcoming the new year with good food and cultural events.

Ugadi

Ugadi is celebrated as the New Year's Day in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka. It marks the beginning of a new lunar calendar.

Gudi Padwa

Celebrated predominantly in the state of Maharashtra, Gudi Padwa marks the traditional New Year for Marathi and Konkani Hindus.
