From politicians to Bollywood stars, the Mahadev betting app case has entangled various prominent personalities.
The Mahadev app let its users bet money on nearly anything, including but not limited to sports, weather, election results and more.
Users were reportedly given two separate contact numbers. One was used to deposit money and place bets and the other to withdraw.
Sourabh Chandrakar and Ravi Uppal were named as the operators of the app. The Dubai-based duo reportedly earned Rs 5,000 crores.
