Amrita, popularly known as Annapurna, was best known for her work in the Bhojpuri entertainment industry.

Amrita married animation engineer Chandramani Jhangad in 2022.

Amrita’s sister found the actor hanging from a noose on April 27, 2024. She was rushed to the hospital, but declared dead on arrival.
