Watch: Woman slips while trying to board moving train, miraculously saved

An elderly woman was severely injured after falling while trying to board a moving train at Vasai Road railway station in Maharashtra's Palghar.

The CCTV footage from the station showed an elderly couple trying to board a moving train. The woman slipped into the gap between the train and the platform.

Her husband then grabbed her hand and saved the woman from being run over by the train. The train stopped after a few second and police staff and people at station pulled the woman on the platform.

The incident occurred around 5.30 pm on Saturday when the woman passenger, Pramila Maro, was travelling by the train from Bhavnagar to Hyderabad along with her husband, Railway police officials said.

Reports said that the 70-year-old woman has suffered multiple fractures in the accident.
