A home guard from the Nagarkurnool Police station in Telangana displayed an act of heroism when he risked his own life to save a dog stuck in a bush, on the bank of a fast moving stream of water.
The dog, reportedly fell into the stream on the outskirts of the town that was overflowing due to incessant rainfall and was yelping for help.
This is when Mujeed, the home guard rushed to the spot. He tried various techniques to move the dog to safety but failed. Eventually, he was able to rescue the distressed canine with the help of a JCB vehicle and won a whole lot of cheer!
