Ahead of the British Grand Prix that starts on Sunday, Formula 1 has revealed the full-scale model of the 2022 car at the Silverstone Circuit in the United Kingdom. F1 showcased the concept car which is based on the new set of regulations applicable from next year. Being described as the game-changer, the new car features several aerodynamic modifications which organisers hope will promote closer racing and make overtaking easier.
7 time World champion Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen, who assessed the new generation car, gave it a fat thumbs up. Calling its modifications interesting, Verstappen said that the most important thing is that the racing will get better. Hamilton too praised the car and said that it is a serious challenge to getting used to a new era.
