Virat Kohli backed Digit Insurance doubles valuation in 6 months, worth $3.5 billion now

Virat Kohli and other investors are surely dancing to a tune of higher valuation as insurance startup Digit Insurance has seen valuations zoom to $3.5 billion as it raised $200 million from existing and new investors. 
Bengaluru based Digit Insurance, which offers health, car, bike, and travel insurance services raised money in January this year which valued it just over $1.9 billion and made it the first unicorn for 2021. 
Digit Insurance which boasts of backers such as Fairfax founded by Canadian billionaire Prem Watsa, Virat Kohli will now see Sequoia Capital India, IIFL Alternate Asset Managers also stepping in as investors.
