Aviation veteran and former Indigo president Aditya Ghosh will join Rakesh Jhunjhunwala in his new upcoming venture.

Ace investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala is said to be planning to launch an ultra-low-cost airline Akasa, modeled just like Irish carrier Ryanair which is one of the most successful and aggressive affordable airlines in the world.

As per the reports, Ghosh will own somewhere around 10% of the airline.

Rakesh Jhunjhunwala will invest $35 million and would own 40% of the firm as he believes more people will travel through the air going forward.
