Indian start-up Vazirani Automotive has unveiled its new electric hypercar called the Ekonk for the world. This is the company’s second such hypercar after the Vazirani Shul was showcased a couple of years ago. For the single-seater offering, Vazirani claims to have adapted Biomimicry and combined it with ancient Indian manufacturing techniques for the development of DiCO technology. The company claims a weight of just 738 kg, which makes it lighter than the current F1 cars, while the design is extremely aerodynamic. Vazirani claims the body is built entirely out of carbon fibre, while the electric motors develop about 712 bhp of maximum power with a top speed of 309 kmph. The 0-100 kmph sprint is achievable in 2.54 seconds. There’s no word on when the Ekonk will enter production and how many units of the electric hypercar be produced.
