Vincent van Gogh's Paris artwork, from 1887, is all set to go on public display for the first time since it was painted.

'Scène de rue à Montmartre' is a part of a French family's private collection and was painted during the Dutch artist's 2 year period when he shared an apartment with his brother in Paris.

The painting will now go under the hammer at Sotheby's in Paris in March and is expected to fetch between €5-8million.

Before this, the masterpiece will be exhibited in London, Paris, and Amsterdam.
