Passengers travelling by Mumbai-Pune Deccan Express can enjoy the scenic beauty of Western Ghats.

The Indian Railways on Saturday restored the Mumbai-Pune Deccan Express special train services with a Vistadome coach. The authorities decided to add a Vistadome coach so that the passengers travelling on the train can enjoy the views of the Western Ghats on Mumbai-Goa route.

The Vistadome coach with glass roof has LED lights and GPS-based information system.

The air-conditioned coach with glass-domed ceilings can accommodate 44 passengers.

The coach has automatic sliding doors, multi-tier luggage rack, and a single lookout window at a special observation lounge for a panoramic view.

The operations of this train were suspended since mid-May due to poor occupancy as Maharashtra government had announce stringent regulations for intra-state travel.
