Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat on Tuesday conducted an aerial survey of areas affected due to glacier disaster in Chamoli.
The Chief Minister also visited the ITBP hospital in Joshimath where some of the rescued people are admitted. 12 people rescued from a tunnel on February 7 are admitted at the ITBP hospital.
Meanwhile, rescue operations are underway at the tunnel in Chamoli where around 35 people are feared to be trapped. The death toll rose to 28 with the recovery of two more bodies on Tuesday and at least 171 people are still missing.
