Urban Company, the on-demand home service provider is the newest entrant into crowded unicorn club as it raises $190 million in it's latest round of funding.
The deal more than doubles the company’s valuation to $2 billion. In its last funding round, led by Tiger Global in 2019, it was valued at $933 million.
Nearly a dozen companies have achieved the billion dollar valuation in 2021 so far.
