UN: 2018 set to be fourth hottest year ever

2018 is likely to be the fourth hottest year on record, according to the World Meteorological Organisation. The UN body in Geneva said, that if this happens, the past four years will turn out to have been the four hottest years in recorded human history. The warning from UN comes ahead of the climate change talks to be held in Poland next month, where world leaders will try to implement the Paris agreement on limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees.
