As part of its latest safety protocols, which applies to both customers and employees, Uber Technologies added a new 'selfie with a mask' feature to encourage everyone to wear a mask.
As of now, the feature will be launched in US and Canada by the end of the month and will be extended to other countries soon after.
The selfie feature can recognise whether the mask has been worn correctly or not. Failure to comply with the rules will lead to deactivation of your Uber account.
