UAE pardons Briton sentenced to life for spying

The United Arab Emirates has pardoned British academic who was sentenced to life in prison for spying. Emirati authorities had come under increasing international pressure over Matthew Hedges life sentence. UAE President Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan issued the clemency for Hedges along with hundreds of others.
