Who is really scripting the dissent that Invesco is voicing? That is the question Zee Subhash Chandra - Founder, Zee Entertainment Enterprises is asking as he makes a rare appearance as the Zee has a face-off with it's largest shareholder Invesco.

He pointed out that some media reports are 'falsely citing' Invesco's version to take on ZEEL MD & CEO Punit Goenka. "These reports have failed terribly in their mala fide attempt to malign the image of esteemed organisation - ZEEL and its MD & CEO Punit Goenka," Subhash Chandra said.

The Board of Directors of ZEE Entertainment in its board meeting held on September 21, 2021, had unanimously provided in-principle approval for the merger between Sony Pictures Networks India and ZEE.
