With the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) riddled in the faction war between the two groups led by Chirag Paswan and his uncle Pashupati Paras, a sexual assault case has now surfaced against Chirag's cousin Prince Raj Paswan.
A woman has lodged a 3-page complaint with Delhi Police at the Connaught Place police station. She has alleged that Prince Paswan mixed intoxicants in her water, following which she fainted. She has alleged that she was raped by Prince Paswan.
The complaint was lodged with Delhi Police on June 15. While police have launched a probe, an FIR is yet to be lodged in the case.
Prince Paswan is a Lok Sabha MP of the LJP from Samastipur in Bihar. On Tuesday, Chirag shared a letter dated March 29 written to his uncle, in which he had mentioned the sexual assault complaint by a woman party worker against Prince Raj, advising him to approach the police.
