US President Donald Trump claims that North Korea leader Kim Jong Un decapitated his uncle Jang Song Thaek and later displayed the headless body to senior North Korean officials to ensure they are in line.
Trump is the first head of state to reveal this officially. He was speaking to US journalist Bob Woodward, who has authored 'Rage', an upcoming book on Trump.
The excerpt from the book, has Trump saying that Kim killed his uncle and put the body on the staircase in his house with the head sitting on the chest.
Crediting it to the warm bonding that the two leaders share, Trump said, 'Kim tells me everything"
Jang Song Thaek who was brutally executed in 2013 on charges of corruption and treason, a move where Kim was seen mercilessly asserting his authority.
